Once you've had your x-ray, it will be reviewed by a radiologist and one of three recommendations will be made.
Green means you are "good to go!".
No need to to go the ER or Urgent Care at this time.
It is likely that your injury is more along the lines of a strain or sprain.
Yellow means you may need attention, but not it's not emergent.
Need routine attention such as a visit to your primary care physician, orthopedic surgeon.
In the meantime, simply strain/sprain care is advised.
Red mean's that you have a fracture and need immediate care.
You may be directed to go to the emergency room, urgent care, or an orthopedic surgeon's office.
